Science and the Parliament 2008 
Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh

Introduction

Science and the Parliament has become an annual feature in the calendar of the scientific and political communities in Scotland and each year it continues to go from strength to strength.

Last year we attracted 300 delegates from across Scotland to share their knowledge and ideas in this unique Scottish forum that brings together scientists and decision makers.

This event is being co-sponsored by all the major parties in the Parliament and we hope to welcome speakers from the Executive and the scientific community as well as the participation by Members of the Scottish Parliament.

Programme

Registration will begin at 12pm. The afternoon will comprise of presentations and speeches together with smaller break-out sessions devoted to specific topic areas.  In the evening there will an exhibition and buffet providing the ideal opportunity for networking between the political & scientific communities.

Exhibition

The upper floor (Stratosphere) of Our Dynamic Earth will house the exhibition and reception between 6pm and 7:30pm.
