Science and the Assembly 2009

The Royal Society of Chemistry's Annual Science and the Assembly took place on Tuesday 5 May 2009 at the Wales Millennium Centre and the Senedd, Cardiff Bay.
The 2009 event focussed on Science and Health, highlighting new research & technology coming out of Wales.
Over 120 delegates attended developing closer links between the scientific community in Wales, the Welsh Assembly Government and Assembly Members.
The President of the RSC, Dave Garner opened the day of scientific presentations, the keynote address was given by Dr Owen Crawley, Chief Scientific Adviser Health, Welsh Assembly Government.
The scientific presentations were followed by an Exhibition and Reception in the Senedd. Providing a great opportunity to network with Assembly Members.
