International Review of Chemistry 2009

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council has undertaken an international review to benchmark the strength of UK chemistry with world competitors and to highlight any gaps or missed opportunities. The information provided from international reviews is used to develop EPSRC's business and investment plans and is therefore of utmost importance to the research community.

The RSC has provide input to this review and has highlighted a number of areas including the importance of supporting early career researchers, maintaining core funding and encouraging adventurous research  and the strengths of the UK research community.
