Northern Ireland Programme for Government 2011-2015
24 February 2012
The RSC submission to the Northern Ireland Executive's consultation on the Programme for Government 2011-2015.
All devolved administrations excepting Northern Ireland now have a Chief Scientific Advisor (CSA). The RSC welcomes the commitments made in the draft Programme for Government 2011-2015 towards the promotion of sTEM subjects, the reduction of Northern Ireland's environmental impact, and the promotion of Small to Medium Enterprises. Scientific advice will be central to the successful realisation of these objectives and son in this document we recommended that the Executive appoint at CSA as a matter of urgency.
