RSC response to the Select Committees Enquiry on strategically important metals

The RSC has submitted evidence to the Science and Technology Select Committee inquiry into Strategically Important Metals.
The RSC were keen to show the importance of recycling and reducing dependence on important metals spans further to the rest of the periodic table.
Within this response the RSC expressed the importance of chemical scientists, engineers and designers working together to try to ensure that endangered elements can be reused, reclaimed or replaced where possible.
