Individual Legal Responsibilities for Health and Safety
18 July 2008
Chemists need to understand the general principles of health and safety law and how it applies to them. The law places specific duties on companies and individuals with regard to their health and safety and that of others who may be affected by work activities. The purpose of this note is to provide chemists with basic information about such duties. It does not give specific, practical examples.
