History of the Company
Dr Crawford Brown (CEO) founded Eden Biodesign Ltd.

Eden Biodesign Ltd was incorporated in September 2002 to be the commercial operator of the National Biomanufacturing Centre (NBC), a £34 million public funded project to provide world class biopharmaceutical product development and manufacturing facilities in Speke, Liverpool. Eden Biodesign was successfully appointed as the operator in March 2003, through the OJEC procedure, due to Eden's extensive expertise and market credibility in all aspects of biopharmaceutical manufacturing, from facility design and operation to the ability to provide best advice relating to product development.

In 2004, Eden raised £5m equity capital from an investment syndicate led by Stephens Inc, the largest privately held investment banking firm outside of Wall Street.

What the future holds
The company is continuing to grow and establishing itself as a reliable contract manufacturing partner for all aspects of drug development for biologics.
