Scoping Group

The Scoping Group met in April 2008 to discuss the big opportunities for the chemical sciences in the next 10 years.

The highly diverse group of individuals challenged the preconceived priority areas and opened up a range of new possibilities. As a result the next stage of the process, the exploration groups, will now focus on eight questions including harnessing and storing energy from sunlight and replicating and learning from nature.
