Jointly sponsored by the Chemical Industries Association and the Association of the British Pharmacuetical Industry, this video is part of a 'Stick with Science' campaign being promoted to schools with the help of the Royal Society of Chemistry to raise interest in science. It tells the story of Rumbo the Green Beast Avenger an anti-science campaigner who meets Madame Curie in a deserted science museum. She comes back to life to show Rumbo how vital science is in the modern world, from pop music to fashion design, and why science is an interesting part of school and career choices. Aimed at 11-14 year olds, this modern and humourous story stars Tony Robinson (alias Baldrick from 'Blackadder') and Kat Lonergan 'Maid Marian' from children's TV.
