Depends what it is. Much of our daily online news is free to access, and you may reproduce the text of these stories online on the following conditions:
(i) You reproduce the article without changing the text
(ii) You acknowledge Chemistry World as the source
(iii) You provide a link to the original article
You may not reproduce any pictures that appear on our website. You may not reproduce any restricted articles which require a subscription to view. You may not make pdf files of feature articles freely available.

Do you provide work experience opportunities?
Yes. We offer an annual internship, funded by the Marriott Bequest, which provides hands-on experience of science journalism. Interns are generally towards the end of their degree or postgraduate course, and have a strong ambition to work in publishing. The internship is only open to members of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and also includes a placement with Education in Chemistry.
Details of the internship are advertised in Chemistry World magazine in the first quarter of each year.
Can I send in an article for publication in Chemistry World?
The majority of our material is written by freelance or staff journalists, but we also publish feature articles and opinion pieces by researchers.
Please don't send us full-length, unsolicited articles. If you have an idea for a piece, please email us with a synopsis of 200 words or less.
We also welcome letters for publication via email - please mark them 'For Publication', and provide a postal address.
