'Moth' - a prize-winning photograph by Ingrid Grazin in the Microsoft photography competition at the department of engineering, University of Cambridge, UK. It is an optical microscope image of a multilayer sandwich of gold and polydimethylsiloxane. Such thin metal films can be reversibly stretched and remain conductive, providing a platform for the realisation of stretchable electronic circuits. For more details see website.
