Chemistry through the lens

Yeastosomes-novel multicellular assemblies - consist of a spherical monolayer of living yeast cells held together by colloid interactions. These were produced by Vesselin Paunov of the University of Hull, UK, by polyelectrolyte mediated templating of air microbubbles with living yeast cells.
