Science meets the visual arts in this exciting new interpretation of the
periodic table of the elements. The elements currently officially
recognised by IUPAC are illustrated in an innovative way, reflecting the
manner in which they affect our daily lives, and resulting in a collection
of stunning visual images.
The CD format gives users easy offline access to the Visual Elements web
site, and also includes a series of brand new animations and a specially
written soundtrack which can be played on any audio CD player.
This CD is both PC and Mac based and will work with Windows 95/98/NT
and Apple Macintosh Power PC operating systems providing
an internet browser is installed. Requires Internet Explorer 4x or higher
or Netscape Navigator 4x or higher. Macromedia Flash, Apple Quicktime
& Adobe Acrobat plug-ins are also required for areas of the site.
The CD-ROM costs £19.99 ($37.50). Please note, VAT is applicable for customers in the UK and must be added to the cost.
