QP Medicinal Chemistry and Therapeutics course overview:
This course provides an overview of the major systems of the body, including how they work, what can go wrong and what medicines can be used to treat, relieve, prevent and/or slow down any ill effects. We explain bit-by-bit the workings of the body and the course requires no previous medical or biological knowledge. The course defines what a medicine is and how they work at a cellular level. We then go through all of the major body systems and explain the workings of each system as well as what can go wrong. Each unit finishes with how medicines are used within each area, with lots of examples provided throughout.
