Course description

Transporting, handling and using chemicals is governed by a range of legislation to ensure that these processes are all carried out safely. In all regulations, there will be a requirement for the people undertaking the work to be trained on the nature of the hazards posed by the chemicals.

This course will give you the vital knowledge to make better risk assessments of the work you do. As well as ensuring that you understand the hazards associated with chemicals and how to identify them from their labelling and paperwork, this cours equips you to make the right choices about safe handling procedures, select the correct protective equipment, and make an effective and safe response to a spillage
