Practical Chemistry for
schools and colleges is an interactive website and CD-ROM produced by the Royal
Society of Chemistry for chemistry students and teachers to support practical
work in post-16 courses. |
The resource contains detailed
video footage of standard experimental techniques (required for AS/A2 and
Higher and Advanced Higher specifications in the UK) and include; assembling
apparatus, recrystallisation, solvent extraction, drying samples, distillation,
titrations, using a burette, making up solutions and much more.

Each of the 13 sections include a
video clip, accompanying text and commentary and a self-test
section.
