Cutting edge chemistry

Cutting edge chemistry won the Educational and College category of the British Book Design and Production awards 2001. The book, sent to every school and college in the UK in 2001, highlights some of the extraordinary developments in the chemical sciences during the 20th Century.

The book is an impressive reworking of Age of the molecule to suit a younger audience. Addressing issues at the forefront of current research it provides a broad spectrum of information relating theoretical chemistry principles to everyday applications. May instil in students a greater understanding and interest in what is often perceived to be a boring subject.

Subject matter is divided into chapters which all include a helpful glossary of terms which may be unfamiliar to this age group in the page 'toolbar'.

An excellent resource for updating teachers as well as consolidation work for students.
