Resources to support primary science teaching

This site contains a collection of ideas, lesson plans, activities and worksheets to help in the teaching of primary (ages 5 to 11) science. The material is presented either in pdf or as word files and is provided by contributors to the site. There are over 40 activities or worksheets to support teaching of the materials/chemistry aspects of the National Curriculum programme of study for 5 to 11 year olds. The resources are copyrighted but the site says that may be freely used in primary classroom: teachers may cut and paste material and adapt them as they see fit.

The introduction to the site makes clear that all material and links on the site are provided in good faith and that no responsibility can be assumed for the accuracy of the information held on the site or any consequences arising from the use of the information.

It is strongly advised that teachers check the accuracy and suitability of all worksheets and lesson plans before using them with their class. It is also important that teachers carry out risk assessments.
