WebElements
This is an outstanding site that
will be of use to all chemists, in school, industry or University. Its aim is
to provide a high quality source of information on the World Wide Web relating
to the Periodic Table. The site is a very large database of the elements and
some of their compounds. The homepage gives a Periodic Table. Clicking on a
particular element allows the user to browse a range of data. Sections include
key data for the element itself, including its history and uses, data on its
simple compounds, its electronic properties, physical properties,
crystallography and nuclear properties. There are excellent associated graphics
to display the data and trends.
