Novel dinuclear and trinuclear palladium β-diiminate complexes containing amido–chloro double-bridges

Abstract

We report the formation of an unexpected trinuclear palladium β-diiminate complex from the decomposition of [Pd(Ph2nacnac)(Cl)(4-H2NC6H4-tBu)] (nacnac = β-diiminate derived from acetylacetone), the proposed reaction pathway, and the synthesis of the first dinuclear palladium complex with an amido–chloro double-bridge.
