A new method for the synthesis of oxide bronzes of tungsten, molybdenum, and vanadium

Abstract

A novel method for the synthesis of oxide bronzes of tungsten, molybdenum, and vanadium, based on the reaction of WO3, MoO3, or V2O5 with the iodides of electropositive metals, is reported.
