Could ‘Afternoon Tea’ Help Solve the World's Energy Problems?

17 March 2015, Baglan, United Kingdom

Introduction
In the UK there are over 4 billion square metres of roofs and walls which are capable of harvesting solar energy. Whilst representing less than 2% of the UK land area, these surfaces have the potential to generate twice the amount of electricity currently consumed throughout the UK.

At SPECIFIC we develop cutting edge coatings for steel and glass that enable these surfaces to generate, store and release renewable energy.
Join us for a fun and informative event to discover the surprising links between “tea”, “cake” and the future of energy generation.

This event includes:
• Short talk about the company
• A tour of our site in Baglan
• Our hands-on workshop ‘Make a solar cell’

Tea, coffee and cold refreshments will be available.
Oh and did I mention cake?!
You can’t have afternoon tea without cake!
