13 October 2016 18:00-20:00, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
Use of carbon is deeply embedded in Western lifestyles. In this talk Angela Druckman, Professor of Sustainable Consumption & Production at the University of Surrey, will ask: can we have more fun, while using less ‘stuff’? The presentation will consider what makes us happy, how we currently use our time, and the carbon emissions of our different activities.  The talk will conclude by discussing some possible avenues that may lead towards more sustainable lifestyles.
