Call for Papers

Anyone who is interested in making a scientific presentation at this conference, either orally or by means of a poster is invited. Participants must indicate their preferences although the committee shall reserve the right to make the final decision.

Language

The official language of the conference shall be English.

Online registration, submission of abstracts and other instructions will be available at www.tcs-tz.org from April 2016.

ACCOMMODATION AND RESERVATION

The Arusha International Conference Center is located in Arusha’s central business district, 45 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport and 15 minutes from Arusha airport. It is surrounded by many hotels some within working distance. Details of hotels, rates and reservation information will be availed via the conference website. 

TRAVEL INFORMATION AND RESERVATION

Tanzania is served by two International Airports, Julius Kambarage Nyerere International (Airport code JNIA) and Kilimanjaro International Airport (Airport code JRO). Kilimanjaro International Airport is the nearby airport but there is also Arusha airport that handles mostly domestic flights and some scheduled flights between Nairobi (Kenya) and Arusha airport. Please arrange with the hotel or your travel agent for airport transfers.
 
Visas have to be applied at the nearest Tanzanian Embassy or High Commission. Some Commonwealth and Scandinavian countries are exempted from visa applications. Social Program

Arusha is the center for northern tourism circuit which includes Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti national parks, among others. Visits to some of these attractions will be organized.
