1st Pan American Congress of Nanotechnology Fundamentals and Applications to Shape the Future

Introduction
The conference topics addressed in the conference will range from fundamentals to applied research presentations in all nanomaterial and nanotechnology areas, i.e. Biological, chemical, nanomanufacturing, Nano informatics, educational, entrepreneurship and sustainability. In this conference, there will be a lot of networking opportunities with Latin American researchers and also some free time to enjoy the white sands of the Brazilian beach. The closing ceremony will have a delicious typical Brazilian Barbecue with Samba and Capoeira shows.

This conference will have between 40 to 60 travel awards (depending on attendees' need for full (up to $2,000) or partial travel support (up to $1,000)) for U.S. undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral students, as well as U.S. faculty members (at all ranks) to be able to travel to the conference. Just as a side note, our conference fee covers all meals, hotel and also shuttle (airport/hotel in the first and last day of the conference). Abstract submissions and registration are already available. To be considered for travel awards, please submit your abstract before June 20th.

 If you would like to stay an extra day, there is the option to visit on Friday morning the state of the art nanofabrication/cyclotron facility in Campinas. Shuttles will be arranged to take attendees there and to the airport.
