The RSC Cumbria Section are holding a picture competition to see what Cumbria thinks Chemistry looks like in day to day life. We would like you to produce/take an image/photo that shows the world what Chemistry means to you, the more creative and visionary the better.
How do you take part?
Draw a picture or take a photograph with the theme ‘Chemistry in Everyday Life’ and write a caption (<30 words).
1.Send it to RSCCumbriaSection@gmail.com as a pdf or jpeg (above 3MB*) by the 15th September 2017 along with your name, date of birth, school (if applicable) and contact details.
2.Winners and runner-ups in each category will be announced on the mid-October 2017.
3.The winning and runner-up submissions in each age category will be turned into a calendar available to buy for £5.
4.Further Terms and Conditions are available on the RSC Cumbria Section website or on request from the email address above.
The age categories are:- Under 7, 7-10, 11-13, 14-16, 16-18, over 18
Winner of each age category will receive a £50 Amazon Voucher and free calendar.
Runner-up will receive a free calendar.
Any School that wins a category will receive a free calendar for their Science classroom.
