Introduction

As part of this year's RSC Chemistry week, the Liverpool Local Section are holding an evening event for its members aligned with the week's 'Global science' theme. The evening will comprise of:

• An informal talk given by Professor Roy Alexander (University of Chester) on Ashton-Hayes, Cheshire's Carbon Neutral Village Project
• An entertaining, pub-style quiz with questions loosely based on some global science topics

A free buffet will be provided. There will also be prizes awarded to the best performing quiz teams. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, spaces are limited so please book early.
