Report launch: Diversity Landscape of the chemical sciences

15 February 2018, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
This event is to celebrate the launch of our diversity landscape data report. We have captured the current state of diversity and inclusion in the chemical sciences based on available data. From this we have identified gaps and questions that still need to be answered, and set out new commitments about our future focus. We will use it to guide and shape our next steps.

Chemists and chemical scientists should represent our society. It is only from drawing the brightest and the best from the widest range of backgrounds, perspectives and experiences that we can be sure we are maximising innovation and creativity in science for the benefit of everyone. At this event we will discuss our findings and the 5 ‘calls for change’ we have identified to create momentum and make a difference in our community.
