Introduction
The International Conference on Pure and Applied Chemistry (ICPAC-2018) will be held on 2-6 July 2018 in Mauritius. The Organising Committee has adopted the theme “Chemistry for a Clean and Healthy Planet” for this event. 

Chemistry is one of the subjects of Science for understanding and explaining makeup and changes of everything that has mass and occupies space. Chemistry has permeated the study of different branches of Science.

The World has condensed into a global village with progress in Science and Technology. However the World is now facing a crisis due to an explosive increase in the demand for energy, food and water. Therefore, Science and Chemistry have crucial roles for achieving some of the goals set by the United Nations for the sustainable development of our planet. 

The conference program will feature a wide variety of keynote, plenary, invited and contributed lectures, as well as poster sessions. There will also be workshops and symposia conducted by experts on different chemical aspects.

This conference will provide a platform for participants to share and discuss recent findings of their research covering all topics related to Chemistry and crystaliise new ideas. It will also be an opportunity for participants to visit the island of Mauritius, famous for its sun, sea and sand as well as multicultural aspects.
