Planning for a Fulfilling Retirement

22 August 2018 09:00-13:00, Chatham, United Kingdom

This event is for RSC Members only

Introduction
Delegates will be walked through the same process a financial planner would to give them, allowing them a sense of how much they can do for themselves, tackling some of the issues and dispelling some of the myths that can hurt us financially. Pension freedom has made planning your finances more effectively as important as this discipline has ever been.

The key points of the session are:
·         To give delegates sufficient knowledge to inspire further confidence when it comes to making the key decisions related to their ‘financial strategy’ for their future and life after work,
·         To build an extended ‘to-do’ list of actions specific to their finances
·         So delegates are in a position to have informed discussions and get what they need should they make use of a financial adviser

Course Programme:
·         Introductions
·         Making financial decisions
·         What will influence our choices in the future
·         Key factors in making financial decisions
·         Big financial decisions

At the end of the workshop, you will receive a folder containing the comprehensive handouts for each section of the programme, as well as useful resources to help you plan your retirement.

This event is free to RSC members but spaces are limited so please email ccfund@rsc.org to book your place. The workshop will commence at 9.30am, with tea and coffee available from 9am.
