Introduction

You are cordially invited you to the 9th edition of the MolMod conference (Molecular Modeling in Chemistry and Biochemistry), to take place at the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, October 28th-30th 2018. The conference traditionally covers theoretical methods (molecular mechanics and quantum methods) as applied in organic, organometallic and coordination chemistry, structure and bonding, biochemistry, bioinorganic chemistry. Contributions highlighting related areas, such as joint experimental and theoretical work, or applications in physics, biology, engineering, environment and materials science, are also welcome. The event has been going on for several years now at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of the Babes-Bolyai University, as a representative international/regional conference.
