Cafe Scientifique - portable lab-on-a-chip devices

31 October 2018 19:30-21:00, Beverley, United Kingdom

Introduction
Nicole Pamme's research interests evolve around the study of microfluidic lab-on-a-chip devices, which allow precise handling of liquids at microscopic scales.  Her group applies this technology for environmental analysis on-site, for clinical diagnostics and the synthesis of smart materials.  Prof Pamme will talk about her experiences carrying out point-of-care analysis with portable lab-on-a-chip devices.
