Introduction

The aim of the BraMat conference is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in Materials Science and Engineering. It also provides opportunities for the participants to exchange new ideas and application experiences, to establish business or research relations and to find other partners for future collaboration. The Conference has been organized every other year at Transilvania University of Brasov, since 1999. The eleven edition, BRAMAT 2019, will be held between the 13th and 16th of March, 2019, in Poiana Brasov ski resort, at Hotel Alpin Resort & Spa, Romania.
