Introduction

You are invited to attend an evening of celebration.

Each year our regional meetings in the UK and Ireland are an excellent opportunity to recognise the efforts and professional successes of local members and to meet with Royal Society of Chemistry staff and leadership. This year the evenings will also celebrate the International Year of the Periodic Table.

At each event you will hear a short welcome, recognising the community’s achievements over the past year; you will have opportunities to talk to staff and ask questions; and there will be plenty of time to network with other members over a buffet and drinks.

These community celebrations are open to all members but may especially interest you if you would like to find out more about getting involved with the work of the Royal Society of Chemistry. We don’t expect members to attend more than one of these linked events – please feel free to attend whichever is most convenient to you.

Travelling by car
Bath is located just ten miles from junction 18 of the M4 motorway. There are also excellent motorway links from the north, Devon and Cornwall via the M5 motorway.
There is no parking available onsite
The nearest car parks are The Podium (under Waitrose) or Manvers Street.
Bath has three Park and Ride stations, with buses running into the city every 15 minutes. 

Travelling by train
Bath Spa Railway Station is conveniently located in the heart of the city centre, just a short walk from the Guildhall.
A taxi rank can be found immediately outside the main exit of the station, and Bath bus station is located just a minutes’ walk along Dorchester Street.
