Introduction
​Analytical chemistry is an important area of chemistry as it provides us with techniques and methods for identifying what something is. This two day course develops and extends your understanding of the key concepts of analytical chemistry, and ability to identify and address common misconceptions.

Day 1 - Wednesday 19 June 2019

Explore the theory of analytical techniques including distillation, chromatography, various chemical tests,  forms of spectroscopy to develop your understanding of the key concepts of analytical chemistry, and ability to identify and address common misconceptions students have.

Day 2 - Wednesday 26 June 2019

Build your understanding and confidence of analytical techniques through hands- on experimentation using techniques such as melting point analysis, IR, MS and NMR.
