Schools from East Anglia (Norfolk or Suffolk, consisting of 2 year nine pupils, 1 year 10 pupil and 1 year eleven pupil) are invited to submit a poster entitled "Why group XXX is great" where XXX is a period group of your choice. Students should celebrate their chosen group and the exact content is up to the team to choose; but could cover appearance, trends, uses, reactions, history and discoverers. Poster content should be size A2 and the file should be converted to a PDF before sending to our email address rsc.eastanglia@gmail.com by 19th October 2019.
Judges will be looking for posters that best celebrate their chosen group. Results will be announced on 8th November 2019.
The top poster teams will be invited to compete in the practical competition on 22nd November 2019 at Briar Chemicals, Norwich.
The regional winner will go forward to compete in the National Final to be held at the University of East London in March 2020 (provisional date of Saturday 21st March 2020).
