Barnsole Vineyard Tour

18 August 2012, Canterbury, United Kingdom

Introduction
English wine is having a resurgence of popularity in recent years, winning prizes in international competitions, and a number of new vineyards have been planted. However, have you ever wondered what goes into creating a vineyard from scratch? Well, John Danilewicz has done just that and this is your chance to hear all about what goes into producing classic English wines.

The tour will start at 1400 and will last 1-1.5 hours, although there will be ample time afterwards to ask questions and look around though you may just want to sit and soak up the glorious summer sunshine! The visit will include sampling Barnsole produce as well as the opportunity to purchase their award-winning wines.Ample parking is available on site although if you live locally why not take the opportunity to explore the leafy lanes and quiet countryside of East Kent by cycling? Barnsole vineyard does not have catering facilities so why not bring a picnic to eat at the vineyard from 1230 or visit one of the two pubs in Staple, The Tuns http://www.thethreetunsstaple.co.uk/) or The Black Pig http://www.theblackpig.co.uk/
