Teacher guidance for a practical activity to investigate the disintegration and dissolution of aspirin tablets. Extension possibilities include comparing the dissolution with that of aspirin capsules and dispersible aspirin tablets. Various buffer solutions might be used to mimic pH found in different regions of the gastrointestinal tract.
