School-to-University Transition Learning Resources

Open Educational Resources summarising key concepts in acids and bases, equilibrium, thermodynamics and organic mechanism, required for entry into undergraduate chemistry.Download the zip files and extract all files before use

This resource has been provided by, or developed in partnership with, The National HE STEM Programme.

Learning Objectives On completion of this activity you should be able to: - calculate Kc and Kp from experimental data using appropriate units

This collection of Open Educational Resources (OERs) have been designed for first year undergraduates and revisits ideas from pre-university. It also begins to show how key concepts are applied early on in an undergraduate university course in chemistry. The OERs were created in Articulate and are made available as an interactive learning object for your virtual learning environment. These resources were developed by Declan Fleming, RSC School Teacher Fellow 2010-2011 at the University of Bath, produced as part of the National HE STEM Programme
