ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It is a good idea, but not essential that students have already completed the module on Innovation, where the case studies are introduced
Learning outcomes: Students should learn and retain the distinction between the features of a technology and the benefits it brings to its users/customers. They should understand the different types of market research (primary vs secondary and qualitative vs quantitative). They should know what is meant by business model, and market segmentation. They should also understand how to find basic market information online and via free sources, and where to find commercial research.
