Modern chemical techniques: ultraviolet/visible spectroscopy

This book teaches about modern chemical techniques without heavy emphasis on maths or physics. It includes descriptions of instruments and their applications.

Background reading on UV/vis spectroscopy.

We are aware of an error in this resource: page 110 of the PDF contains a graph of UV/Vis absorbance of Phenolphthalein at pH=1 (When it should be Litmus)

(This graph is missing in error) Many apologies

However the concept of changing UV/Vis absorbance by pH is shown correctly on page 109 (using Phenolphthalein as an example)
