DISTANCE - using the internet of school things
Distance offers schools the chance to use the internet of things in a way that makes learning more fun, links directly to the curriculum and helps to create the next generation of scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians.
The pilot project works with schools across the UK to define how the Internet of School things can enhance learning in science.
The project is a collaborative consortium and includes many partners: Birmingham Urban Climate Laboratory, Explorer HQ, Intel, Open University, Science Scope Ltd, Stakeholder Design, UCL, Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis and Xively
