About Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry
Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry is the RSC journal which publishes research and reviews on synthetic, biomolecular and physical organic chemistry. The scope of the journal covers all organic aspects of: synthetic methodology, chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, natural product chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, macromolecular chemistry, theoretical chemistry and catalysis.
Article types:
Communications: Urgent accounts of highly-important new research. Up to 6 journal pages in length.
Full papers: Full accounts of important original research. Full papers may be an expansion of work previously published in a Communication; however, the new work reported must represent a significant extension on what was previously published.
Perspectives: Concise and critical reviews of key topics in organic chemistry. Easy-to-read and covering current areas of interest, rather than comprehensive reviews of the literature.
Emerging Areas: Short, forward-looking feature articles on particularly topical subjects.
