Using the logo on book spines
Book spines require a special case use of the logo, and are the only instance where the RSC letterform is separated from the strapline. It should never be used in this format in any other application, for any reason.
The rules for using the logo on spines are simple, are based on the same 10% of the document height rule as other printed applications, but require special spacing (and rotation of the logo where the spine width is 12mm or less).
Please note that the registered charity number should appear on these materials unless approved by Neville Reed or Richard Porte.
