Logo do's and don'ts

The logo should never be manipulated from its original form. The examples below give an overview of some of the most common issues to watch out for.

Please note that the registered charity number should appear on these materials unless approved by Neville Reed or Richard Porte.

Logo do's and don'ts

Splitting the elements

Never use RSC on its own. Always use the logo in its entire form, with the strapline.

Background

The logo should always sit on a solid colour or white background and never over the top of an image or texture.

Colour

The RSC logo is not to be produced in any colour other than blue, black or white.

Effects

The RSC logo should never have effects like stretching or shadows applied.

Form

The RSC logo should not be forced into container shapes.

Typeface

The RSC logo should never be recreated or made up of substitute fonts.

The RSC logo should always read horizontally and should not be rotated or distorted in any way.

Minimum clear space

The RSC logo should always have the designated clear space. No other words or logos should be attached to it.
