A4 portrait event ads
This advert style is used to promote RSC events and 'call for papers' for conferences. Their basic vertical grid is based on quarters above the branding strip.
They are, by their nature, likely to be quite copy-heavy, so they always use a white background for the main content areas.
Where a visual is used, it should occupy the top quarter only, and should be used consistently across all materials for that event. They will often be sent via email: the light background helps to ensure they can be easily printed by the recipient.
The branding strip will ususally carry a web address, and a solid header can be used to provide an alternative, bolder header.
Please note that the registered charity number should appear on these materials unless approved by Neville Reed or Richard Porte.
