Caption : figure s2: example of respirograms observed during the preliminary tests, after the injection of a pulse of 50 mg cod l-1 of synthetic wastewater added with 0 (control), 16, 32 and 64 mg agnps l-1. these respirograms show the do concentration over time, after the injection of the substrate pulse. in the case of 0 and 16 mg agnps l-1, a clear respirometric response was observed (transient decrease of the do concentration) while a total inhibition (no respirometric response) was observed at 32 and 64 mg agnps l-1.
