Unusual variations in the incidence of Z′ > 1 in oxo-anion structures

Further investigation of the compounds included in this communication showed that 2f is in fact the H2SiF6 salt of 1,3-phenylenediamine rather than the HPF6 salt, with SiF6 generated from reaction of residual HF (from the decomposition of PF6) reacting with the glass vessel. Therefore 2f is actually a redetermination of 2g and should not be considered further. As a result the number of new structures included is twenty-eight rather than twenty-nine and consequently the percentage of structures in this set with Z′ > 1 is 17.9 rather than the 17.2 given in Table 1.
