There is an error in Scheme 5 of the paper and an error in its title.

1. In Scheme 5, the N- protected group "Boc" should be revised into "Ac".

2. The title of Scheme 5, "Direct C3-acetoxylation of 1g", should be revised into "Proposed reaction mechanism."

The correct Scheme 5 is:

Scheme 5 Proposed reaction mechanism.
