The labels 'linear' and 'Taylor' should be interchanged in each panel of Fig. 3.

The correct version of Fig. 3 is shown below.

Fig. 3 Comparison of optimization results for the five considered parametrization and four different target pulse shapes. The Husimi representation of the pulses is illustrated in the upper part. The diagrams in the lower part show the mean fitness value of the best individuals after 150 generations, averaged over three separate runs. Target pulse 1 corresponds to the sample pulse of Fig. 2. The error bars indicate the standard deviation of the three runs. All fitness values were normalized to the fitness of the unshaped pulse (blue dashed horizontal line).
